Make WAVES with River(W)rites
Six Saturdays of Relaxation, Art & Writing on the Hudson River

July 7, 14, 21, 28, & August 4, 11 - from 12 to 4pm

The Blue Door Art Center and the Science Barge expand their creative collaboration with a new series of free workshops on the Hudson River. 
Experience the magic!

12:00 Mindfulness: gentle yoga, stretching, with Marcus John, poet and BDAC Open Mic host, certified in health and fitness instruction.
1:00 - 4:00 Express yourself: focused writing prompts and art projects facilitated by BDAC’s poet-in-residence, Golda Solomon, and BDAC artist member, poet and musician, Jill Austen. 

Participants will receive a journal for writing, drawing, painting and collage. Open to adults, and young adults over fourteen. Any level of experience welcome. Attendance at all six sessions is not required, but encouraged, as activities vary from week to week.
